One of the greatest artist of our time we met in New York for an interview in his studio



Cheval talks about his early days in Russia. After some sucessful years with the age of 24, he decided, due to economical changes in russia, to move to New York City. On his way to sucess, he had to go through difficult times.
To make art dealers and galeries sell his paintings, Cheval had to change his way of painting, he describes.
With “hiding some of the truth”, he could maintain his philosophy, to be able to transport a message to the viewer.
